Cost: $1,400 (do-it-yourself) to $4,000 installed.

Tax credit: 30% up to $2,000 per year for HPWH and heat pump for heating and cooling. Up to $600 for breaker box.

Rebates: 50% or 100%, up to $1,750 for HPWH, $2,500 for electrical breaker box and $4,000 for wiring
